We were in Alaska visiting family and made our way to Ivory Jack's. By far our favorite place we ate. Also, I have a child with a food allergy, the staff was one of the most accommodating we have seen in our travels from the Atlantic coast all the way to Fairbanks. I highly recommend stopping by. Great food, great atmosphere, great story of Ivory Jack. Thank you, Jon from Paris, Tennessee

Anyone still around from the 70's?

Miss the valley and the smell of the old Ivory Jack's Store. We lived across the way and I loved to just hang out. Blessings to those still there.

Anyone still around from the 70's???

For some reason I thought of the awesome smell when walking into the old Ivory Jacks! We lived right across the way in a trapper's cabin mid 70's, loved to walk to the store and hang out. Is Jack still around? I truly miss the valley and the old days.
Take care from Colorado Springs, Colorado

Disappointmented

I was at Ivory Jack's Friday 25 May 2012 and found NOT 1 BUT 3 hairs in my food!! Sickening!!!!!! The wait staff had their hair down and not pulled back. I speculate that it was theirs.
Their gumbo was supposed to have sausage and chicken and there was NO sausage and their French Onion Soup tasted like vinegar. smilies/cry.gif

Open Mic

Hello, i have a band interested in playing placees around fairbanks, they play rock/metalish music. they are all younger than the age of 18. Would that be a problem? And if not when is the open mic night?

Love IJ -- and the gluten free stuff rocks!

Our family absolutely loves Ivory Jack's -- in fact, it's the only restaurant we eat in because of the gluten free items and the care the wait staff takes to make sure we're gluten free. Three out of the four of us are gluten intolerant or have celiac disease -- my youngest can be hospitalized from a reaction. So we love coming to a safe place to eat that has such great food. Thank you Ivory Jack's!!

Does anyone know where I can find Kim O'Brien?

We were friends when I lived up in Fairbanks, and, I think, she married Jim (can't remember his last name, started with an O, i think) can anyone let me know where I can reach her?

Dick and Joni, Hope all is well, sucks down here. Joni, as an owner, and Dick as a propriator, make sure he holds up his end so you dont have to cover like you have for so long. Say "Hi" to Pat, Roger, Becky and Joe if he's in town. Guess Who???

OK I have been to Ivory Jacks at night after the Silver Gultch tasting so I was already a bit toasty, and it was a blast, but you do not get the full experience withouto eating there especially at lunch. There are obvious people that come all the time, and sit at the same table. The bartender/waitresses were never stopping always moving and always in a timely fashion. It is full Fairbanks Land, screw the rest. I had the best BLT I have ever had there and we at at the bar, it was wonderful. THANK YOU I AM SO GLAD I WENT FOR LUNCH... I do now after six years feel like I am truly home... and that after I got a sweatshirt, and no i am not a tourist.. it smells like dogs, patchouli and smoke.. lol thanks again!!
